Description

The bookplate is 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide, printed on archival quality (acid-free) paper that is pre-gummed, but non-sticky until moistened. If you do not intend to affix the bookplate, I suggest wrapping it in plastic.

Bookplates for subscribers inside of North America will normally ship within a week of PayPal payment, or within ten days of receipt of personal check. Bookplates for European subscribers will also ship in a timely manner, but not before mid-March. You can check the status of your order here, but Andreas or I will send you an email if there are any problems with your payment.

Shipping cost for other parts of the world will be commensurate; please contact me at bookplate@mikeberro.com for more information. Damaged bookplates may be replaced for shipping costs, if reported in a timely manner. No other warranties expressed or implied. Costs are not tax deductible; check with your tax advisor.

FAQ

• Do the bookplates and limitation pages look similar? Are they essentially the same, only the bookplates must be added "after the fact"?
• No, the limitation page is the full size of a book page, and has a space for a number. It will be bound into volume 44; only the first 200 subscribers to the Reader's Edition, and first 25 subscribers to the Deluxe Edition will receive books with the limitation pages. The bookplate is smaller, so it can be affixed to the inside front cover (or anywhere else.)

• How would I know if my set is one of the first 200?
• It should say on your invoices and receipts, as "signed, #nnn." You can also email me and I will let you know.

• Why weren't all of us given this limitation page since this is a limited edition?
• Originally we were given permission by Vance's publishers to produce 200 sets, so that is what we budgeted for. After several months, the demand increased, and we were able to secure permission for more sets. We felt it was a suitable reward for the early adopters, who risked their money on a venture that not everyone was sure would succeed. It's also difficult to get Jack to sign; it took over 6 months just to get the bookplates signed.

• Can I order a bookplate even if I am getting a signed set?
• Yes.
